What it means

A finger resting on the dorsal surface of an adjacent digit when the hand is at rest.

Overlapping of the fingers occurring as the result of a deviation of the fingers from their normal position. Fingers that are laterally deviated, but do not rest on top of adjacent fingers should be coded as Clinodactyly.
