What it means
The amount of an organic compound in the urine, normalized for urine concentration, is outside the limits of normal. An organic compound is defined here as a chemical compound that contains a carbon-hydrogen or carbon-carbon bond, although some other definitions exist. Examples of organic compounds includes alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, aromatic compounds, alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, carboxylic acids, and esters.
