An increased susceptibility to colitis of infectious etiology, as manifested by a recurrent or severe colonic infection, or by an infectious colitis caused by an atypical or opportunistic organism.
A recurrent or chronic infectious colitis can be a manifestation of antibody deficiencies and combined immunodeficiencies.
