Microgastria

What it means

A developmental anomaly with a small tubular or saccular midline stomach.

Patients with microgastria usually have poor growth, inadequate food consumption, or a complication of the small gastric cavity and gastroesophageal reflux, including frequent vomiting or pneumonia.
