Infantile constant exotropia

What it means

Constant exotropia occurring before 6 months of age.; often associated with a large angle of deviation and ocular/CNS abnormalities.

Typically infantile constant exotropia suggests presentation at 6 months of age or younger, while basic constant exotropia suggests later presentation (older than 6-12 months). (OHO 745 & 750).
