What it means

Loss of the outer layer of the epidermis in the area of the eyebrow in large, scale-like flakes.

Size of scaling can be variable from fine-white to thick scaling. Sscales on eyebrows are often related to seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, ichthyosis, etc.
