Enlarged cochlear aqueduct

What it means

Increased size of the cochlear duct, i.e., of a duct that communicates between the perilymphatic space and the subarachnoid space, and transmits a vein from the cochlea to join the internal jugular.

The cochlear aqueduct surrounds the perilymphatic (periotic duct). Enlargement of the cochlear aqueduct may be seen in POU3F4 X-linked deafness with Gusher.
