Anisocoria

What it means

Anisocoria, or unequal pupil size, may represent a benign physiologic variant or a manifestation of disease.

Pathologic anisocoria can reflect an abnormality of the musculature of the iris or of the sympathetic or prasympathetic innervation of the iris.
