Abnormal HLA-DR+ T cell proportion
HP:5200023
What it means
The proportion of peripheral blood T lymphocytes expressing HLA-DR (CD3+HLA-DR+) is outside of the reference limit for age.
HLA-DR expression on T cells is an activation marker; elevated proportions reflect in vivo T cell activation status even when measured ex vivo without prior stimulation. This feature can be measured by flow cytometry.
