State Veterans Education Benefits
State
These programs give you money to attend a state-supported college, university or trade school if you're a veteran and Minnesota resident. You may also get money for school if you're a veteran's widow or a dependent.
About this program
These programs give you money for education if you are a qualified veteran. Through the Minnesota GI bill, veterans can get up to $10,000 for:
- Classes at a state-supported college or university
- On-the-job training
- Apprenticeships
- Licenses and certifications
Money for school and training is also available to a veteran's widow or children.
You may also qualify for the Veteran Education Assistance Program, which gives veterans $750 to help them finish school if they no longer have GI bill benefits.
How do I apply?
