HoosierRx can help you pay your Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage premiums. To take part in this program, you must be 65 years of age or older and have limited income. In addition, you cannot get the "full subsidy" from Medicare's Extra Help.
About this program
If you have Medicare, HoosierRx will help pay your Medicare Prescription Drug plan’s premium. There is no cost to enroll in this program. Currently, HoosierRx provides payments up to $70 per month. Overall, HoosierRx makes an effort to keep the amount of assistance you receive consistent from year-to-year. However, under certain circumstances the program may change the monthly benefit amount. Separately, HoosierRx is limited to providing Part D premium assistance and does not pay or provide discounts on the cost of prescription drugs.
How do I apply?
To apply for this program, you can print and fill out an application to send to HoosierRx. Please send the completed application back to the program as instructed on the form.
