In this program you can get different types of education for free. You can take part in this free program if you are age 16 or older. You cannot already be enrolled in a secondary school or have a high school diploma.

About this program

You can get different types of education for free in this program. Education help may include:

  • Adult education: Prepare for the GED exam and get help with reading skills and study and time management skills. You may also be able to learn computer skills.
  • English as a Second Language (ESOL): Get help to learn to speak English, pass citizenship tests, and find a job.
  • Family literacy: Learn skills so you can help your children with their schoolwork and also improve your reading skills.
  • Workforce education: These education programs can be taken at work to improve reading, math, team building, and communication.
  • Corrections education: These programs can be taken in adult correctional and treatment facilities.
  • Transitions to postsecondary education: Get aid to help you go to college.
  • Virtual education: Take classes on the computer at a time that is best for you, without going to a classroom.
