Washington Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)

If you have a developmental disability, the Washington Division of Developmental Disabilities (also called DDD) can help you and your family get services and support based on your individual needs. To get DDD services, you must have a developmental disability as defined by the state of Washington. In addition, the developmental disability must have started before you turned 18 years old, must be expected to continue without getting better, and must limit your ability to function mentally and physically.

If you have a developmental disability, the Washington Division of Developmental Disabilities (also called DDD) can help you and your family get services and support based on your individual needs. The DDD’s goal is to promote your independence when doing everyday activities.

The DDD case resource managers can help you and your family identify your interests and support needs as well as access DDD services and other community resources that may be able to help you. The DDD offers many programs and services, including:

  • Case management
  • Alternative living
  • Nursing care
  • Medical and psychiatric evaluations
  • Counseling
  • Supported living

Please note: Some programs and services may be limited depending on the funding available.
